Bridge Project Manager

Location: Herndon, VA (On-site)

Schedule: Full-Time | Mon–Fri | Occasional Field Work

Motivated Bridge Project Manager to join our growing office in Herndon. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering all project objectives for assigned bridge and structural design projects at the local, state, and federal levels. You will lead multi-discipline teams through the full project lifecycle—from planning and scope to final design and construction—ensuring the highest quality outcomes and stakeholder satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Management: Manage project scope, schedule, and budget; identify and mitigate risks; and manage subconsultants.
• Technical Leadership: Provide structural engineering expertise and guide all technical resources within the project team.
• Client Relations: Build and maintain relationships with clients to understand preferences and ensure quality execution.
• Team Growth: Provide leadership, coaching, and performance management to support the growth of the project team.
• Business Development: Assist office leaders with the marketing process, including proposal development and interviews.

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with a focus in Structural Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• Experience: 10+ years of bridge and structural design experience.
• Licensure: Professional Engineer (PE) license in Virginia.
• Skills: Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Preferred: Experience working with VDOT, Virginia localities, and multiple project delivery methods (Design-Build, P3, etc.).
