Obstetrics & Gynecology (OBGYN) Physician
Location: California (Multi-clinic rotation)
Schedule: Full-Time | Mon–Fri (8a–5p or 9a–6p) | Occasional Weekends & On-Call
Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Obstetrics/Gynecology Physician to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will provide high-quality care to female patients, manage prenatal through postnatal periods, deliver babies, and manage chronic conditions. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest standards of medical ethics and patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clinical Care: Provide comprehensive healthcare to female patients; perform tests, prescribe medications, and manage outpatient/in-hospital medical care.
- Maternal Health: Monitor patients during prenatal, natal, and postnatal periods; deliver babies ensuring the safety of both mother and infant.
- Leadership & Education: Serve as a preceptor for medical, NP, and PA students; participate in policy development and staff meetings.
- Administration: Maintain accurate charting and documentation; adhere to State and Federal regulations; facilitate audits.
- Collaboration: Consult with the Medical Director on complex cases and support nursing staff in implementing clinic procedures.
Qualifications
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Education: Doctorate degree (MD/DO).
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in both Gynecology and Obstetrics.
- Board Status: OBGYN Board Certified or Board-Eligible.
- Licensure: Valid Medical Doctor (MD) license in California.
- Certifications: * DEA License (California)
- Controlled Dangerous Substances (CDS) certification
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS)
- AHA Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
